When is Mahindra launching the Scorpio Eagle 2.2?....EDIT Now Launched

guys just 2 days ago i saw this E2di on a parking plot of a restaurant.... the time i thought it could be selfportraited idea.... but coming to this section i realise it was the new varient so i din't pay much attention towards it....

monster_BHP - that is a custom made Scorpio in hyd. I do not remember the thread but it was a one customized by him.

Mahindra Scorpio Getaway has been launched 3 months back, Tata's are still playing wait & watch with their Xenon, Aint they ? Earlier it was only scorpio that was ruling the SUV segment in India..
now that tata safari has come up with a far better engine..competition in this segment is going to get tougher for scorpio....

Guys any updates regarding the Specs of scorpio 2.2 ltr???

guys, why there are no spy pics of eagle 2.2 till now.. Is it that mahindra hasnt started road testing them. If that is the case then its gonna take time.

Even the Mahindra Guy, to whom i spoke today, doesnt have any idea when will they launch this much hyped Eagle. Looks like it cannot be expected this year & the new safari will enjoy a comfortable cruise through out the year.

I had enquired with a mahindra showroom guy and he said eagle is expected around feb-mar 08.

i think by launching the scorpio next year ,.mahindra is commiting a mistake.the safari will have the advantage for 6 months(till march 08)..they should lauch the scorpio eagle ASAP so that tata`s cannot take the advantage
