Voah!!! That is some seriously dope looking alloy wheel design. Not a fan of 'in-motion'/backwards bend alloys or the now ubiquitous diamond cut, but this one seriously looks cool.
Reserving comments on the front end, but the rear styling looks sharp.

AWD on Toyota hybrid's are easy-peasy now with no prop-shafts and just a motor on the rear axle. Reason why Toyota has been of late generous in giving AWD to all their hybrid models. Also why I didn't bat an eyelid when rumours came that AWD would be optional in the D22/YFG. But surprised that the K15 engined one gets the AWD. AFAIK, no other models with K15 engines get AWD, except for the 4x4 system in the Jimny and in the hybrid version of the K15. Hope Toyota/Maruti has managed to pump up the power by atleast 10-15bhp and added an extra gear to the K15 model.

Just had a talk with my contact at Nexa. It seems they had a training/session on the new model today. All mobiles/tablets etc were taken away before the session.

The vehicle will have an option to choose the mode of operation, like a way to choose EV or petrol. And importance is being given for mileage of around 30kmpl(as quoted). They were just shown a picture in which the vehicle was covered. That's it for now.

ARIA 30kmpl.. Wow.. that would now definitely eat into Honda City Hybrid sales. Lets see how they price it.

The new car launches and announcements were not a big deal when I was not looking out to change my car, many such events came and went, but this time in addition to eagerness+curiosity, it seem to be irresistible as well.

Waiting for launch is becoming a pain, each day seem to be longer and 1st July is not arriving soon enough - hope we will not be disappointed on the big day

From the Toyota HyRyder Teaser, the front top grille has an EV like appearance. LEDs look striking. IMO, considering the limited power and torque figures, the success of Strong Hybrid rests with the e-cvt gearbox.
