The 2022 Kwid Climber is offered in new colour options - Metal Mustard and Ice cool White with a Black roof. The car is also available in two monotone colours - Moonlight Silver and Zanskar Blue.

Renault has introduced a new RXL (O) variant on both the 0.8L and 1.0L MT versions. The car gets dual-tone flex wheels.

Inside, the Kwid comes equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, Voice Recognition and electrically adjustable ORVMs. The standard safety features offered on the Kwid include dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and Seat belt Pyrotech.

The 2022 Kwid is offered with the same 799cc, 3-cylinder engine that produces 53 BHP and 72 Nm and the 999cc, 3-cylinder unit that makes 67 BHP and 91 Nm. While a 5-speed manual transmission is available as standard, the 1.0L version gets an optional 5-speed AMT.

Somehow I don't think it will make any kind of difference to the lacklustre sales of the Kwid.
Renault really needs an all new Kwid and in a real hurry if they want to get some traction. No point in small cosmetic changes.

How cool will it be if they give that 1 liter turbo CVT to this Kwid?

Oh! We aren't that lucky in this market are we??

It would be great if they have made changes to the structure and get a good GNCAP rating.

In 2015 sep, when the Kwid was first launched it cost 2.57l ex showroom. My father in law had bought a top end AMT for 5.15l on road !!!

What justifies this price rise in 7 years? I should have negotiated my salary better

By rising price to 4.49L they think they can compete with strong Tiago? Nope. Now an Alto or even RediGo is more VFM than this car.

Hope they have improved the NVH levels of the Kwid. It's quite audible in the current version. I had expected same levels of NVH in Kiger but thankfully that was not the case.

For AMT They must introduce manual mode like Triber. AMT without manual mode is not at all usable for many like me.
