Mahindra to launch Scorpio pick up in India

Tata's are about to launch their TL series pickup's in India by the name of Xenon. In line with sensing the competition Mahindra is about to launch their pick up too, here is an excerpt from an article mentioning the same.

Mahindra export projects vice-president Sanjeev Mohoni said all their vehicles were built tough for Indian conditions.
"We have bad roads in India so we know what to do with suspension. And when we say one-tonne capacity, it is built to hold about two tonnes because people carry up to 34 people in the back," he said.
The Indian Consul-General said he had driven Mahindra vehicles for three decades and "never had a complaint".
"These vehicles are tailor-made for the Australian Outback."
They were first sold last year in South Africa, a similarly harsh environment with rugged roads and will be sold in India from next month.
