Re: BMW Chennai plant celebrates 15 years of operations

BMW India can be proud of itself, because IMHO, one of the best workforce in the industry consistently maintaining assembly quality as stipulated by BMW. Used both assembled in Germany and assembled in India models and it is hard to tell the difference. It comes from high level of workmanship and internal processes.

Re: BMW Chennai plant celebrates 15 years of operations

I recently saw an RC of a X3 car and the name of the manufacturer mentioned on it was "PIAGGIO VEHICLES PVT LTD"

Wondering if it is a printing mistake from RTO or BMW does indeed outsource manufacturing/assembly of their cars to PIAGGIO?

Of-course, there was one more wrong entry on the RC but that I am sure was an RTO mistake: Body Type: Saloon but Model X3.

Car is a 2014 registered car btw.
