Just got back from a long Saturday nite of clubbing, and tonight was really special. After dropping the dames home, I indulged in some aggressive driving with the C Class. I have been asked so many times as to what I love most about this car and I am only surer of my answer now - The Chassis and suspension balance.

THe C Class is just so impeccably well-mannered that when I compare it to any other Indian car that I have driven, the opposition is crushed beyond belief. This car corners in sharp giving just the appropriate amount of feedback. The brakes are in a class of their own, and the suspension is so very beautifully balanced. I get that "heavy vault like" feeling and it stays unfazed whether I am cruising at 50km/h or a 200!!

This car awards a sense of occasion to just about any night. German cars rule! Just thought I'd share a note before hitting the sack.

You are right, however I was thinking of a potential scenario ahead after an impressive drive

well GTO, you are a lucky man to own a piece of german engineering. when i drove the C-Klasse on the expressway i was surprised too at how well it took the corners at 150 even, went up all the way to 210, and it was all calm inside, not even wind noise. they never cease to amaze me. have fun, someday i will too.

hey powerfreak, 195 kmph seems a little optimistic dont you think? well but then you took pictures so... im guess a huge speedo error. btw, did you take both your hands off the wheel, to take the pics? at 195 kmph? that takes big b*lls.

Potential turned to reality before the impressive drive . Revvmaster caught us exiting my house at 3 a.m. and was witness to a little of my hard cornering.

Yes Rehaan, I remember some tests where the C Class out"classed" everyone else in braking tests.

PHead, its a dream to cruise on the express with the C. You can actually shift lower (6 speed remember) at 150 and keep accelerating all the way to 200+. Rock-steady would be an understatement.

You're right man. Same thing happens in Bangalore also especially during the month end. May be these cops run out of their pocket money or they have their monthly quota of cases to fill. May be both.
