This thread has given me second thoughts!!!!

I really don't know, now! I guess I'll go and look at it.

The launch date? Who knows? I guess we're as likely to see it in the newspaper advertisements, although someone here may bring us inside advance knowledge, I'm sure it'll get posted the minutes someone actually gets to know it!
as mentioned earlier. JAN 9th. During the auto expo.

This google-friendly site update:Skoda fabia bookings at Straight Frm The Heart says that booking has already started, through it does not mention anything official.

As I had mentioned in an earlier post, a Skoda dealer stall at a Mini Auto show last weekend, had a Fabia banner on display.

A picture of the car with 'Bookings Open' mentioned. But they did say that launch is on 8-9 Jan.

So much being said about the fabia..supermini or not.. premium or not..

I was going through youtube and got this. I think it mite be old to people here but doesn't this kinda say how good the car is compared to the other ones we are offered in the market, even though the pricing is way high.

I don't know if a getz, a swift or any other that the fabia is being compared to lasts this long

Why would anyone any one want to book the car without test iving it. I thinkl Fabia is turning out to be the next hyped thing, after the 2.2 Safari.

Without taking a test drive and seeing the car it is tough to take a decision. I am sure that the indian version would be different from the international models. Lot of cost cutting can be expected
