I hope specs and design would be similiar to the Fabia launched in UK recently. Please refer the link below. Many of you have seen prototypes testing on Indian roads, are those similier in the looks/ design with the one in link below ?

Went to a Skoda dealer today to check out the Laura for a friend & was informed that the Fabia launch is confirmed for Jan. Trial production has already begun.

Xenons is unlikely and DSG is Highly unlikely.

Fabia looks promising. But pricing is going to be the key. It can face competition from the Jazz. The launch of Fabia earlier than the Jazz can be seen as crucial factor in its success, if it achieves it that is.

guys,

today I saw fabia at MG Road x Brigade road signal, right next to my vehicle. I was more than 2 min stop, but I could not take any photos as my mobile camera stopped responding even after removing the camera lense. But any how these are my observations.
MH XXXXXX temp. Registration
color : dark earth color
Looks: similar to swift but with clear contour lines.
Rear seat leg room space must be around 1 ft!
Dash: Similar to swift with some silver finish.

One of friend-friend said to be booked the car. OR price said to be 6.5 for a diesel model.

the above pics give a feel that is should be the petrol one -- a direct competition to the Palio Stile 1.6 hot hatch category -- but this one might be priced in the category of a Ford Fusion or even above that -- any takers for this line of thought?
