Add the Lancer & the Skoda to that list. It does not mean anything.

@ben & manikjeet, why dont you fellas get together & buy the whole lot of ikons & innovas that are on sale, so no cabbie can get them.

Even the Civic's I've seen have yellow boards. Mercs are popular yellow board contenders.

Toyoto corolla and Lancer are also very poular. Toyota dint want to give that image to their products but the Camry(old and new) under EPCG, the innova and the corrolla are popular travel cars.

Slightly OFF-TOPIC:

John, they say, "Too many cooks spoil the broth". I wouldnt want to ruin the love i have for Mike with having many more Mickeys'.

Bangalore is unique - we have Rolls "taxi", a KL Regd Ferrari taxi sitting here, so why get excited with an SX4!

Till date, I have seen only one white Palio as cab in Blore, so am enjoying the exclusive factor of Palio!

Yep, there are plenty of those around here, most being the 1.9 diesels.I've even seen a 1.2 being used by a driving school-Bhogilal! Thats actually a very difficult to learn your driving on.The plus side is, it helps you master any other car-big or small very quickly once you've driven a Palio.

if fleet owners and taxi guys prefer a car, what does it mean?

cheap to maintain, good FE, great comfort, VFM and take lot of abuse??

If so its a good sign, and add a black diesel swift with a car rental company, chauffeur driven
