Correct, DT refers to Dual Tone option which is only available on the Sharp variant.

That's right, Diesel AT is not planned but I was talking about currently available Diesel manual. There is no mention about it in this certification. Maybe they will get it done separately.

My MG Sales advisor says both models will be continued - existing Hector and new Hector - after launch. Naming appears the same from RTO docs so I am confused as to why would MG continue both versions.

I guess the only difference would be addition of New Gen words next to Sharp name to 2023 model.

Reason to continue both is to have more variants at different price points. MG knows people are paying 25 lakhs for tata and Mahindra. Hence, they are adding new gen to cater to customer group which is willing to pay more!

Looks genuine, as it seems to be same car which was spotted in UK for ad shoot. This Insta page is from UK as well.

Car is looking damn good to me! Happy that they didn't screw it up. After 1 year wait, that would have been last thing to ask for.

The prediction of connected tail lamp was right.

Can't wait to see this one in black!!

Amidst all discussions pointing towards 5th Jan launch date, Zigwheels believe that hector could be launched on 20th December itself.

In any case we a need to wait for a month or so to finally get complete details a around pricing, deliveries, etc.

Chrome chins at front and rear need to be blackened out and so does the chrome strip below rear logo. That in a black shade would look spectacular.

It's a good oppurtunity for MG to come up with a limited black edition at launch itself, all the parts blacked out and different black alloys.
