which Fuel would you First try ..

It has to be Shelll for me

All fuels are roughly the same, its the amount of leada and more inportantly the additives which make the diff. Ive tried BP, Shell, Caltex, and Mobile. And caltex with its CX3 and techron unleaded fuels is by far the best.

See As of now I dont know what to choose cause well I dont really know these Companies. BUT although if I would go by Brand Name it has to be Shell or BP.

guys
where would all these companies source the crude ol from when they set up base in india?

I'll give all these companies a try.

Regards...
Shan2nu

For my lubes, I would use ONLY Mobil1...whether its for the engine, transmission or any other part of my car.

Butttttttttttttt for the fuel - Shell. Just one of those things. This is the combo I followed for my entire stay overseas.

Hey Sam,

Are you talking about unleaded fuels? Do unleaded fuels actually still have a small percentage of lead? or were u just talking abt the leaded stuff *cough*cancer*cough*

Null vote, dont know much about the companies, (but i would choose shell as i am just too used to seeing the yellow shell on rally cars since years!

Probably Shell.

Correct me if I'm wrong - long long ago, Shell entered the Indian market as Bharat Petroleum and Esso came in as Hindustan Petroleum. Someone like Ajmat, who's a lot older than myself might know something more about this.

As far as engine oils go, I'm using Elf at the moment.

Welll you guys would know me by now..

Mobil1 ;)

yaa there was a shell station at bandra(opposite the present cream centre) and another one in south bombay.. but the suddenly downed their shutters

Yeah, here in the US there are a like a million gas stations run by several different compaines, including small town local people. I usually try to use ARCO out here in California...i think they are only a west coast company cause i've only seen them in Las Vegas. I'v used shell once, ehh....other than that, its usually wherever the price is best or Chevron.

shell no other!
