Update on the case:
The area sales manager did call me today. Nice and polite chap - heard me out and gave me the option to choose a different chassis. Also offered to have the tyres replaced if I was willing to accept the same chassis to which I said that I had already confirmed this to the dealership. The only problem was that the dealership was unwilling to assure me that the same would be done. He has said that he/someone from his team will get back to me by the evening.
The same attitude and ignorance problem I faced when visiting the Safdarjung Showroom made me switch my dealer to Lajpat Nagar, as it is nearer to my house as well the SA was proactive and polite. Had heard some praises of Lajpat Nagar as well but haven't experienced any yet, hope never have to face.

They may have used the vehicle for personal purposes hence the tyre worn out. SAs "still" thinks consumer is a lamb living in 90s and can be directed any way them seem fit, your detailed checklist made them look like a clown. If they prioritize fresh piece, that'd be the most beneficial head-on, else if they stand to their vague vocal statement and you want the vehicle, you can ask for discount if you are comfortable.

Are the side step included with the car's price or are a dealer level accessory?

For Z2 variant only side step is an accessory. For all other variants it comes as standard fitting.
Please refer the pic below.
Hope this helps.

No side steps for Z2 but available as an accessory. Standard for Z4 and above variants. Z4 side steps are not anodized.

Re: What happened with your Mahindra Scorpio-N Booking?

Excited to share about the delivery of our ScorpioN. Ours was the first one to roll out of the dealer. So it was special. There was a chief guest from RTO (who arrived late ). There was a cake-cutting ceremony and key handover. It was really special for our family!

Sharing some pictures. There is also a short video of us driving out but not able to upload it.

First impressions

Really a BIG Daddy. The seating position is unmatched. It is not just the height. The way the seat is positioned feels like being on top.

Massive vehicle but driving is as easy as cutting butter with a hot knife.

Still getting used to the clutch and brake. They are sensitive.

The glove compartment is reeeaally small. Will definitely need to buy hanging storage behind the seats.

The pouch behind the seat is verrry small. You can put stuff like a magazine or two. Nothing much bigger can go in. Makes it almost non-functional if you are used to large pouches.

Love the response of the car. I took a manual one because I wanted to "participate" in the driving and I'm lovin it.

Gear shifts are very smooth and there's no engine sound at all, esp when you are in traffic. Once the car stopped and I didn't even realize it.

There is space under the 3rd-row seats to keep tools, tire inflator, and other emergency kits. There is no other space for these...

Yet to explore a lot of stuff. I will keep updating. Got only one key as of now. The dealer said the second key will take some more time.

He is coming today to my office to help me get familiar with all car features.

Re: What happened with your Mahindra Scorpio-N Booking?

Here are the extended warranty details for ScorpioN. The dealer commission is Rs 1500/-. I think it is good to take, especially this being a new vehicle from Mahindra! I will be taking it within 6 months.

Very useful information, thanks for sharing. Are there any extra fees for the 4WD drive models? The annexures do not call this out, so wondering if there is a page missing or 4WD part of the Diesel AT/MT charges only?

Congratulations!

Looks like yours is the first one in Hyderabad. From the pics, it looks like VVC
Kothaguda showroom.

Enjoy your ride and share the updates.

Cheers

There were no separate pages given for 4WD. Here is the full document, I converted it to pictures so that it is easy to read in one glance.
