Hey guys,

I dunno how many of you read the letter from Noble regarding in this months Autocar. Goes on to say that their criticism of the original design was unjust etc etc...

BUT..the main point they made was that they have NOT accepted DC's design for the car! He didn't elaborate on that, but I'm sure we all know why. Funny we never heard about that from anyone in the press huh! I guess all us T-BHPians were correct in our verdict of the design afterall!

Well...i guess its back to the drawing board for DC. Good effort, but time he got mainstream.

Hey Rtech

Got my issue yesterday. I read the letter u mentioned. The guy has certainly written quite a mail I must say. He was especially critical about the female part. But yeah the main part of the letter was that the GO hasnt been accepted by Noble UK and suprisingly no one here mentioned it in the media. The Aston went places but cant say the same for the GO. Hopefully DC comes out with something better next time around.

Let me ask you a question - after building the Aston, how come DC has not built any more concepts for Ford and it's associate companies or any other's for that matter

Well, to DC's credit, Noble has mentioned that "they have no plans to adopt DC's go project for the time being, but wish them every success with future projects". This does come out as a rejection, but Noble has not entirely ruled out the idea.

Noble is now a specialist manufacturer of sports cars which is fast gaining reputation in Europe. With this reputation also comes a higher level of expectation and I doubt that Noble would accept any sports car design that has not had atleast moderate levels of wind-tunnel testing incorporated in the end shape.

Thus I doubt that we will ever see the DC GO. Personally I prefer the looks of the original M12.

i recall once driving a dc modified cielo .. and the the car had overheating problems because the modified bumper was restricting the cooling to the heat exchanger and the car was just unstable over 70kmph .. dangerous set of 4 wheels

You must try one of his chop-and-convertible creations...or his 4door-to-2door models. Prepare to be shocked beyond belief

isnt this ironical, cars coming from international companies are homologated.( even though we know they will pass all tests). .. but small private firms which do a cut and paste job.. make rolling coffins.. so who will be held responsible for an unfortunate incident... the consumer or the firm doing the Stupid Mod's

hey, very interesting! Looks like they did adopt the concept afterall!

Although I still don't like the looks. Infact, I prefer the original DC design to the Noble modified one.

The GO influence on the M14 is pretty strong...in fact, much more than I even imagined Noble to adopt from teh Chabbria stable.

One up for DC?

Would i be crazy to say that at some angle it looks like DC was motivated by the new lamborghinis? From the side profile?

yes DC got what he deserved.his designs are always inspired from someone else.
has anyone seen his prokit for the palio.it sucks.
still people go for it.
just by looking at a DC car u can say its a DC as it is all the same.
no doubt some of his works are good but most of it is crap.
