Partly incorrect. The Kodiaq & Tiguan (being AWD) will be upgraded with Audi's EA888 evo4 DQ381-7A drivetrain.

The sedans on the other hand are currently not supported with a RDE-compliant drivetrain, and hence being shelved for the time being. They will return in PHEV/EV guise in 2024 as it stands today.

Any last stock offers for grab in Bangalore ? When I enquired, few weeks back in Dec, no one seem to be interested in selling it. Were offering 30K-50K in discounts.

Thanks for the pics. A real headturner, this one! This is one of the most well executed mods carried on the Sportline. Even as a Superb L&K owner (that I adore), my heart skips a beat everytime I spot a Superb Spotline in this S. Grey paint shade = total 🫶🏼

Any idea why the superb hasn’t been discontinued?
Is it still available for purchase? If yes, can it legally be registered at RTO since it doesn’t meet BS 6.2?

Right the Octavia and the Super has the same engine, how come only Octavia was discontinued?

I received a call asking If I was still interested in the Octavia last week.

I am presuming they have been given some kind of grace period, or possibly they all along were allowed to register it post 31st March but perhaps just not allowed to sell MY2023 non-BS6.2 vehicles?..
Just something that crossed by mind after I received the call and being aware that it was all only MY2022 stock, both Octavia and Superb.

From what I know, unlike BS4 to BS6 shift, the BS 6.2 only prohibits manufacturers from producing non-compliant cars post 1st April'23. Buyers can still register the car assuming it was manufactured before 01/04/23.
I think the Octavia ran out of whatever they had produced and they are still left with stock of the Superb at the factory. Infact I recently saw a Superb being readied for delivery two days back at a Mumbai dealership.

I am considering an used Octavia, haven't completely finalised on it. Do you guys think it is still a good buy? If so, what model should I be looking at? I am inclined more towards diesel. Thanks in advance.
