The N line models are surprisingly boring, considering how well thought out the original N models are in western markets. Paying a premium for a different set of alloys and a garish looking exhaust doesn't make any sense. N line should be offering something more.

Have you driven the i20 N Line? It's not just the alloys and exhaust that are different. The suspension tune and steering calibration have been significantly altered, making for a stiff, sharp handling car. The i20 N Line handles way better than the standard i20 (& better than any other under 20 lakh car too). The chassis feels light and responsive, the steering is extremely precise, and the car has exemplary high speed manners. If Hyundai can do something similar with the Venue (which itself is a competent car), the result would be well worth the price premium and probably very fun.

As for whether the N Line cars are boring, sure they are if compared to the actual N cars. But compared to the other cars sold in India (99% of which are extremely boring), they are not. They are the lowest end of performance/economy cars, but considering that beyond them we don't really have any genuine sports cars in India, this is the best we have short of a big BMW sedan (which is less like a sports car and more like a muscle car anyway). If you want a lightweight compact fun chuckable car with a good engine and gearbox, the only options are the Swift or Ignis or i10 or the N Line(s).

I agree with you . The I20 N-Line is a hoot to drive compared to the conventional i20 with stiffened suspension and sharp steering. Hope the Venue N-Line continues it.

Ambient sounds of nature That has to be the most weird feature I've seen on a car.

Good to see powered seats being offered on a compact car like the Venue. I had used it in a friend's Crysta, and felt like it is a good feature to have.

I wish Hyundai considers N-line treatment for their diesel cars as well. It will be a delight to drive with a smooth 6 speed AT, retuned suspension and ofcourse pleasing mileage numbers.

I would recommend you to reconsider i20 booking, Venue actually has better equipment list and it is almost similar in pricing too.
