the tavera should wake up the designers at toyota who have been sleeping all this while....

I think it is going to be a nerve rattler for Qualis.

I think that the Tavera has gone on to show what an old design the Qualis is. But the Qualis will still lead the sales charts. Its built a formidable reputation and only enhanced the Toyota image, is much more refined than the Tavera and the new gen Qualis should be less than a year away.

Well, well, well..... Tavera goes all for the looks how ever qualis goes for the maintaince free ride and superb quality engine.

Tavera engine is also superb additionaly equipped with "turbo" (2nd car around the corner with turbo except indigo). Tyota has been already working on new and much more improved qualis.

Belive me, i am having a qualis on which i had hardly spent any amt. except regular service & small wear-n-tear amt.

however i am waiting sincerly for the Toyota Corolla 1.6 !!!!

I dont know how many of u have noticed. There is no connection between the shut lines of the front and rear(middle row) passenger doors of the Qualis. It looks like the vehicle was designed with a thought of carrying only front passengers, so only front 2 doors. The rear doors look like an afterthought!! The earlier Qualis didnt even come with a roll kinda mechanism for windows of the rear occupants. I have not checked out the real purpose for which Toyota built this vehicle. Can anyone put light onto this?

I think qualis is a better car,
But knowing people in India i voted for it wud give it a tough competetion,
