I think this is a good move and I am sure this going to help their sales a lot. It would have been more smarter, if these models were launched right from the beginning. Diesel model will have many takers. I think it is fighting head on with Indigo Dicor now ( may pull some SX4 customers)

..looks like their website is down for updation.

Good going M&R. That was real quick. I think this was from the customer inputs.

So sensibilities finally creep in. Well, better late than never and good to see the mid-equipped Logans on offer now. For most makes, its the middle-range that is the best seller.

For the diesel, how much is the saving versus the fully-loaded?

The basic problem with the logan has been their positioning. It has an image of a cheap car. In india i dont know how successfull this would be. Anyways it seems it will take time to catch up and gain a good customer base. Some might not buy it becouase of its image and other wont touch it becaouse of TVS service centre reputation in most areas.

Here's the website (Mahindra Renault Logan) Welcome to Logan

But spare yourself a click --- it doesn't have prices except for Navi Mumbai and doesn't mention the new models announced today.

The sales guy had mentioned the launch of these two when I did a test drive few weeks ago. From the on paper features he mentioned this could well be the best selling model in the Logan range with decent equipment levels.
