Honda CRV Type 2, parts recal

Had given the Crv for 25k kms and the dealer informed that they are replacing the fuel tank as instructed by Honda.

Owners please check with dealer and see if your car belongs to the batch, again this is for not the oldest or latest Crv but the type II.

Good part getting a clean tank after 2 and half years lol.

Oh and yes one power window motor went kapput no warrant guarantee thingie and will cost 2.3 k Rs :(

I heard this news couple of days back and searched for it found this in economic times the url is

Honda had had problems even with the Accord as also can be read in the article. I wish the dealers would recall such cars and give them the required change as many dealers tend to take replacement and then change at a cost for unknowing customers. Honda should take the faulty suppliers to task.
