I am planning to buy Ford Fiesta 1.4 DuraTorq Exi.
Is Ford going to release a new version of Fiesta. The showroom folks told me that a new one might be in the horizon..
So should I wait or go ahead and buy one...

Don't know about Fiesta, but the Ford Focus is due to be launched next year in India.

Off Topic: Not too sure if you got confused between the Fiesta or the FUSION (remember the Diesel is coming and may be with minor changes!)

Chances are the Fusion/Fiesta gets upgraded. Fusion will get the Fiesta's 1.4TDCi (and get cut its length by 18mm to avail some small diesel car tax benefits) and Fiesta will get 1.6TDCi.

But when? anybody can give any further info?

Fiesta 1.6 TDCi is expected near Diwali or year end.. thats around 6 months from now on.

We had a thread on the facelifted Fiesta which was released in Brazil. Would that be the new Fiesta in India?

Mazda recently launched their all new Mazda2 which is the future platform for the new Fiesta. It will take a couple of years to hit Europe and another year to hit India methinks.

You are having me worried dude.. Wht should I do? I kinda really liked the engine + FE combo of Fiesta..Is this an isolated incidents or has any one ever came across more Fiesta Issues?

TorroRosso, there is nothing to get worried about here. This is an isloated case, and mainly because of the dealer involved in Kolkata.

If thats the case, try searching for moanings about the Swift, and many would pop up. Does that make it a bad product? IMO, No.

Overdrive had a couple of issues back posted pics of the new Fiesta. But I doubt if it anywhere near the horizon. Dont see it getting launched any time this year.

I guess the NEW FUSION should be givin this treatment. Would certainly helo in boosting the sales...

I am planning to buy the fiesta sxi this month. IS there a new fiesta waiting to be launched? That would change my plans. How true is this news? Do reply guys I intend to book the car this month.
