I do agree that it will eat a bit into GLC sales but I am sure MB would be happy they have a "reasonably priced" 7 seater to compete with the X7.

As far as my knowledge is concerned the current GLC is sold out. The next gen GLC is expected only after June 2023.

The GLB is sort of stop gap measure to fill the gap left by the GLC temporarily.

Why is a camo required when the model is already sold across many countries and revealed to public a long time ago. With global brands it's an easy guess that a model sold abroad would make it's way into our market sooner than later and the only speculation will be when and what price

Atrocious pricing for what is an inflated A class. But yes I agree that it might find a lot of takers who would otherwise go for the C or GLC. But IMO this should have been priced at par to the C class and not the GLC. This would mean the GLC face-lift would move a few notches higher in the price bracket.

The GLC Facelift will probably get a price increase of atleast 7-8 lakhs (keeping in mind the price increase of new c class)

The GLB with the A class engine and interior, will struggle to sell at over 70 Lakhs on road in my opinion. The 3rd row is extremely cramped anyway.

Does 4MATIC version here come with AMG Line only or with normal 220D also? The pictures are confusing because if it's comes only with AMG Line then the power figures are same. Why will AMG line have the same power figures as the normal 220D?

AMG Line means a trim level like Avantgarde or Elegance. And it has a body kit and better looking alloys compared to the other trims. But it won’t have more power.

AMG Line will be available only with the 220d 4Matic, similar to the GLA.

Think of it this way what the M-Sport Trim is for BMW and S-Line is for Audi, AMG Line is for Mercedes-Benz.

Thank you but that's exactly what's confusing me. AMG lines for GLA, GLC or GLE etc. have 60-70% more horses than the regular ones. But in the pictures shared above GLB AMG Line has the same 140KW power which is not very AMG like. It's just a Mercedes-Benz in that case and not a Mercedes-Benz AMG. The diamonds in the grill up-front don't make that car go any faster.

Simply put, AMG Line is just cosmetic changes being done to a regular GLA/GLB to make them look like AMG versions. Hence visually the car will look like a AMG version.

Unlike this a full AMG version means that not only does it have a different look (cosmetic changes) but it also has a different engine tuned specially by AMG engineers hence it would be like you say, 60 to 70% more, in terms of power.

Merc/BMW/Audi all use AMG/MSport/S-Line versions to make cosmetic changes to their regular models (usually will be the top version of that model) in order to make their cars look more appealing and attract more customers.

These 'cosmetic only' versions shouldn't be confused with their full blown racing versions tuned by their racing divisions.

This holds true only for C300d and E350d Amgline. In case of GLA and GLB, the power and torque are the same. Apart from the cosmetic changes, both the models also offer 4 Matic for the Amgline s of GLA and GLB.
