Spotted disguised Exter yesterday!

The Asta variant of the i10 Nios is priced at 10.6L on road here in Bangalore. For the same price you get a Punch Accomplish AMT. I really don't think Hyundai can price it close to the Punch. It's gonna be closer to the Fronx. Also I feel way the punch handles bad roads will still be better than Exter. I will be surprised if it's the other way. So I still feel Punch will be a better option. But looking at how crazy we are for features I won't be surprised if this becomes a runaway hit in this segment.

Have to admit that nobody understands what features Indian customers care about in a car better that Hyundai. The new Exter features an OEM dashcam with dual camera - a must in every car.

I was on the Bangalore to Hyderabad road somewhere near Kia Motors Ananthapur in April.
And saw this.
Must have been an Exter or its Kia sibling.

From the interior photos , its apparent that it is a Nios with increased GC and pricing wise should be below i20.

Production of the Hyundai Exter has begun. Official launch and pricing is scheduled for July 10th.

Looks good for the most part - wish the name EXTER wasn't pasted in the front (not sure if this is a new trend - hope not!)

And knowing Hyundai, this will be well equipped.

First real pic I've seen. Looks decent but I still cannot get a grasp on the size. And the men of shorter stature standing next to it don't help.

This is not a tall boy or small SUV - the Koreans are taller than their own car! I just couldn't miss this point. All the brochure pics, ads just make it look way taller than it actually is. Is this just another Ignis?

Could be the maruti s-presso size equivalent based on pics. They already have the venue for the mini Cuv section.

Two Exters are being dispatched to Delearships and are expected to reach by tomorrow as per the Sales Advisor.

There is an official unveil of Hyundai Exter on 10th July 4:00 p.m. onwards in Arsh Hyundai dealerships in Mumbai. For anyone who wants to go and check it out. We can have our own mini bhp meet��
