Toyota has introduced CNG variants of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder and Glanza. The Glanza E-CNG is priced from Rs. 8.43 lakh (ex-showroom). The prices for the mid-size SUV will be announced later.



The Glanza and Urban Cruiser Hyryder E-CNG are available in S and G trims, equipped with a manual transmission. The Glanza is powered by a 1.2-litre engine that puts out 76 BHP and 98.5 Nm and is claimed to deliver a mileage of 30.61 km/kg.

The Urban Cruiser Hyryder E-CNG comes with LED headlamps with LED daytime running lights, LED tail lights and rides on 17-inch alloy wheels. It is powered by a 1.5-litre K-series engine that is said to deliver a fuel efficiency of 26.1 km/kg. The mid-size SUV is also available with strong-hybrid and mild-hybrid variants.

Toyota has opened bookings for the Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG for a token amount of Rs 25,000.



- The CNG-kit will be offered with the 1.5-litre petrol mild-hybrid engine, produces 88hp and 121.5Nm in CNG mode.

- Will solely be offered with the 5-speed manual gearbox

- Hyryder CNG to be available in mid-spec S and G trims.

As far as i know, the Brezza CNG will start getting delivered from December. Both Hyryder and Brezza shares same powertrain.
