Toyota Innova Crysta brochure leaks – Variant wise features List.

2023 Toyota Innova Crysta will be available in G, GX, VX and ZX trim levels with a sole 2.4-litre diesel motor mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.



Innova Crysta will be available in 7-seat and 8-seat configurations. It will primarily target the fleet segment as well as buyers who prefer a diesel powertrain.

New Innova Crysta will be using the same 2.4-litre diesel engine as earlier. However, it has been updated to comply with RDE emission norms. It was being speculated that performance numbers may change due to RDE compliance norms. But power and torque output of 150 PS and 343 Nm is the same as earlier. New Crysta will have transmission option of only 5-speed manual. It gets drive modes of Eco and Power.

Do we have any update on the launch dates and price reveal?
I had called the SA of a dealer located on Hosur Road. He also could not provide a proper response on pricing and launch date details. They are sticking to the standard reply that launch date is sooner and no information on pricing till that date.
One thing which is bewildering me is that with a vehicle of this cost, 7 air bag option is only available in the top most trim if we go by the leaked information. This holds a certain bit of correlation if we recollect the specifications of older Innova Crysta and the current Innova Hycross. Curtain and side airbags are only offered in the top most variant.
In last couple of years we have seen a slow shift in our approach towards safety in Indian market.
In this context it is striking that TKM is offering this option only in the top most variant.

It could be because of the driving style of the target audience. A typical Innova driver drives it as a taxi, or is the chauffeur for a politician.

These guys are always in a hurry; they're less likely to cruise, and more likely to have an agricultural driving style = drive as fast as possible till they meet traffic, then shift down, honk the hell out of the unfortunate souls who happen to be in front of them, and then speed away.

The 5 speed MT does a very good job of keeping the engine within the "torque wave" that the 2.4 D has to offer. That range is very addictive for our protagonists who love the vehicle for that very fact!

Toyota Innova Crysta has started reaching dealerships.

It slots below the new Innova Hycross in Toyota’s lineup.

Offered in G, GX, VX and ZX trim levels with two seating options.

Gets a 150PS 2.4-litre turbo-diesel engine paired with a five-speed manual gearbox.

Launch expected in the coming days, MPV should be priced from around Rs 18 lakh onwards (ex-showroom).

The first thing I would do is replace that hideous looking grill and bumper with gen1 type .

The front end sure looks busy. Also that white/silver surround should go or be masked as it reminds me of the IndianDatsun products. But better than the first facelift since the grille here is split by that horizontal piece. With proper use of colours can make it disappear or make it look like an integrated bull bar. The pre-facelift sure is the cleanest and timeless design.

Glad to see the old alloy design is back. Even if it is just for the lower models. The diamond cut go faster alloys looked out of place in the Innova.

2023 Toyota Innova Crysta reaches dealerships; prices out

Toyota has started dispatching the 2023 Innova Crysta to dealerships across India. According to a media report, prices for the MPV start at Rs 19.13 lakh (ex-showroom).



Toyota relaunched the Innova Crysta in an updated avatar in January this year. It is available in four variants: G, GX, VX and ZX in either 7-seater or 8-seater configurations.

The 2023 Innova Crysta gets minor cosmetic changes, which include a redesigned front grille, sweptback headlamps and a new front bumper that houses the turn indicators and fog lights.



Inside, the new Innova Crysta comes equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit, offering Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The MPV also gets an 8-way power adjustable driver seat, rear auto A/C with digital display, seat back table and ambient lighting.

The new Innova Crysta is available with a 2.4-litre diesel engine, which comes with 'Eco' and 'Power' drive modes. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.

Diesel automatic would have been nice but understand why toyota chose to get rid of it. Are those alloys coming with GX versions ? They look good

Toyota is definitely having a laugh charging more for the globally phased out, outdated model over the new one. But can you really blame them when people are ready to pay the premium.

Why are prices of VX/ZX not declared yet? Also is it just marketing or Toyota has updated the gearbox?

Those are 17 inch alloys, available only on ZX trim. GX will come with prefacelift 16 inchers.

For now only the G & GX variants are being produced and shipped from factory, hence their prices. VX and ZX should start reaching dealerships around April-end / early-May.
