TUshky
Fantastic pictures (as usual )

THere's no question that this is a seriously better looking upgrade, but it is not a euphoric one. The car looks like a bigger version of the Indica. Once again Tata's have shown that they'd rather play conservative design. I hope that this time around they'll get the driving ergonomics correct.

Fantastic! I really like the front end treatment with those long and swooping headlights... unless they make some major changes to the back a lot of people are going to compain that the new indica looks similar to the older one.

Sajo, no - notice the lines near the rear wheel - the doors are different. The door on the Elegante has a straight cut, while this has a curve.

Do you want more GC or less GC than the current Indica (170mm)?

Yes - this looks promising, even though it reminds me of the Peugeot's. [I love the Peugeot styling]A sufficient change will be required.

The roof area at the rear looks more rounded-off than the current Indica.

I dont know how the central console will fare - I am still not used to moving my area of vision off the road to the central part of the dash and then back to the road - it takes that little extra time than checking the console behind the steering and back to the road. May be one will get used to it. Just like we spoke of opposing wipers on the Civic - but accepted it soon enough.

Tushky, awesome, again !

Nice scoop, Tushky.

Interiors, feel a bit plasticky at this point but since this is a test mule, let's hope for the better.

Tushky - thats fabulous work! You're one of a kind.

As for the car - that is a very welcome change from the Indica's drab interiors. I agree those lights are terrific, but what I noticed was the length of the doors - will ingress get easier than in the current Indica??? But 1.5 NA diesel??? In this age?

And I am pretty sure those are bodies of the Palio Stile . They are in plenty mounted on truck carriers from the paint shop. If it were some new car they wouldn't leave it close to the entrance .

The headlights remind me of a Peugeot 207.

As for the 1.5 NA diesel, why should Tata let go of the Taxi market just because a new Indica has arrived.

you can't get closer than this, awesome pics tushky.
I really liked the new Dashboard, that was long awaited.
I feel, the front of new Indica will be really gonna be mind blowing specially with those head lights.
Steering to me still seems to be a bit larger, but given the right tyres, overall car looks pretty promising.
