The S-Presso Xtra is mechanically identical to the standard car. It is powered by a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine that makes 66 BHP and 89 Nm. The engine is mated to either a 5-speed manual transmission or an AMT.

The S-Presso Xtra is likely to be part of Maruti Suzuki's Auto Expo 2023 line-up.

Auto Expo supposed to have new use cases, designs, and technologies which drive the sector forward. Not sticker jobs.

Duh! Typical Maruti Limited Edition with no Xtra effort.

Maruti Suzuki comes up with such lame 'special' editions for exactly only this reason - more coverage by the media. We wouldn't have been thinking about this ugly duckling for any other reason now, would we?

Couldn't they have added body colored bumpers at the least? Otherwise how is this any different from a bad sticker job?

They've taken a value vehicle and slowly pushed it up the value chain without offering anything new in particular. At this point, why take the spresso instead of the ignis?

Maruti has to redesign the front grill, bumper and the rear bumper to make it more attractive. Also they should provide full body coloured bumpers front and back to attract more customers. These kind of added accessories may not work for Maruti to sell this car in big numbers.

Re: Maruti Suzuki S-Presso Xtra limited edition revealed

Why does the first photo have some sort of smokey effect? Its marketed as a SUV, but without the SUV design. The "xtra" only makes it look like a SUV. But the smoked effect with red colour does not mean its smokey hot.

Its ugly and of late its only seen plying as a yellow plate commercial vehicle.

This eS-Presso is getting uglier day by day. Those red inserts looks weird.

Also why would this be a part of Auto Expo? They haven't redesigned it and still have the guts to showcase this with mere cosmetic changes

All hail MSIL!

All of these are already part of Maruti genuine accessories for S-presso. It's ridiculous to add a new suffix for this.

Actually this is a smart move. Add two stickers and get national press coverage for free.

Really thick-skinned, the MSIL management. I doubt anyone with some self-respect would showcase vinyl-cutting skills in an auto expo. They should have named it XtraThik or even S-Presso Rhino.
