Mahindra is likely to launch the entry-level 2WD version of the Thar this month and the variant details have already leaked online.
The Thar 4x2 will be offered with two engine options. These include a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol unit producing 150 BHP and 320 Nm, which will be mated with a 6-speed automatic transmission and a 1.5-litre diesel producing 117 BHP and 300 Nm. MG has announced that the Hector facelift will be officially unveiled in India on January 5, 2023.

Hyundai revealed the India-spec Ioniq 5 at an event recently. Bookings for the new EV are now open and customers can place their orders by paying a token amount of Rs 1 lakh.
In India, Hyundai will offer a large battery pack with an ARAI-certified range of 631 km and a rear-mounted electric motor. The Ioniq 5 also supports 800V fast charging, which can charge the battery from 10-80% in 18 minutes. Related Thread BMW X1
Some BMW dealers in the country have started accepting pre-bookings for the next-generation X1. Dealers are charging a booking amount of Rs 50,000. The next-generation BMW 7 Series and i7 electric limousine will be launched in India on January 7, 2023. The cars will be presented at Joytown, Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai.
Globally, the new 7 Series is offered with petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid powertrains ranging from a 3.0-litre turbo-petrol to a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8.

Mercedes-Benz is said to be gearing up to launch a new high-performance convertible in India. Reports suggest that the AMG E53 Cabriolet will be launched on January 6, 2023.

Kia is set to showcase the next-generation Carnival in India next month. The MPV, along with the Sorento SUV, will be part of Kia’s Auto Expo 2023 line-up.
