Okay with accessories, but not everyone wants the extra claddings, spoilers, garnishes, extenders ,styling kit and other stuff that is just stuck on the car with glue.
I had a conversation with a NEXA sales executive.
According to him, "Midnight Black Nexa cars can be bought without the accessories as well. You will have to pay the package amount, but if you don't want the accessories you could get the service discount voucher of the same amount from the dealership".

Pearl Midnight Black is one of the oldest colour from Maruti Suzuki's colour palette. I've seen that shade on my uncle's Esteem, 20 years ago.
And yes, My 2016 Ciaz is in Midninght Black as well.
Its just, since Indian customers don't usually buy a black cars, MSIL discontinued it in most of their cars. In current line-up only Ciaz is the one which is offered in that shade.

Thanks.
Not an ideal option, but waaay better than sticking on unwanted 'accessories'.

Forgot. Our F10D WagonR was also midnight pearl black. Btw, not just Ciaz on one end. The Eeco on the other end too had black option.

What the heck!
After years of offering black only on the Eeco and Ciaz, they are now offering black in all?

Is it Maruti working on customer feedback? Or did they come across a hugely discounted leftover paint?

Re: Maruti introduces Nexa Black Editions of Ignis, XL6 & Grand Vitara

Saw a Baleno and Swift in black colour yesterday. Felt weird seeing a non Ciaz/Eeco new Maruti in black.

About the colour. None of the new fancy bluish/greenish/brownish blacks nor the sporty murdered out black. This looked just like a normal anonymous black. Loved it personally.

BTW, except for the Ignis and XL6, most others have the new black option updated in the website.

The Black Edition of the XL6 too has started to arrive at the Nexa outlets in India.

- Available only in Alpha and Alpha+ variants

- Also on offer is a Limited Edition accessory package
