I have faced exactly same problem and basically it did a factory reset of infotainment system. I had downloaded lot of songs using JioSaavn and all of them were lost and I had to login to JioSaavn again.

Can you please log a case with mgpulse hub so they are aware its a wide spread issue and fix it on priority. When I called them they told no one else had reported this issue. They need to fix this on priority. I have logged a case with them and they told they are working on it.

You can make the icall from within the infotainment system or call customer care from the support option in the "my mg" mobile app.

I just raised issues with mgpulse. I am getting my first service done this weekend and plan to raise issue there as well.

Hi,

Navigation in the digital console doesn’t work, it shows ‘Navigation connection is setting up’ forever. Navigation in the main unit works fine though. Mine is a Savvy pro. Please let me know if anyone faced this issue and resolved.

Note: MG service is investigating, looks like they haven’t had similar issue reported.

I noticed the same issue on my savy pro with mapmyindia map, however, it worked fine with Google maps via Android auto.

During service, they have updated the infotainment system software. Lot of travel planned this month, so should be able to test it.

Sharing the comparison video between Hector and XUV 700. This is one of the better comparison videos I saw that's practical highliting the strengths, weaknesses and usability of both without dismissing either of the cars.

These folks dont compare details like speaker quality, AC quality and after sales service and other ongoing issues with the car. These are very important as well. Xuv 700 was launched around 2 years back and people still complain about the various mechanical and electronic issues. These should have been fixed by now. At the end of the day you want a smooth and peaceful experience after paying 26+ lakhs

Car's GPS and internet has stopped working. Over the weekend, I drove more than 800km and GPS stopped working during my onward journey.

I was not able to use navigation, voice commands and Saavn. Internet signal icon itself is missing in Infotainment system. Even in MG iSmart I am getting an error saying "Unable to get GPS location of vehicle" and no trip information.

Looks like even in my previous trip, I had faced same issue but it recovered within an hour.

I want to get it resolved urgently as I have another trip planned during next week. I am trying to reach out to service center.

Has anyone faced this issue ?

Booked the 6 seater Hector in starry black yesterday, Really impressed with the dechrome images above and I am inclined to the do the same. Did some quick work to see what could the final results be.

My Hector is scheduled for delivery next week. Went and had a look at my car in the stock yard yesterday.

Was also informed that the 5 year AMC price has been increased from 25k to 40k now. Overall, the cost to me for the Hector Plus has gone up by 60-70k from the day I made the booking in the month of February.

My experience with the MG flagship showroom in Gurugram has been very poor as well. With the RM not being responsive during my waiting period of 3 months, to the WhatsApp group they create immediately after the booking where no one bothers to respond, even after reading your message. They screwed up my entire loan processing and I had to coordinate, manage and get the loan approved with the bank directly.

When the car got alloted to me on the 6th of this month, I asked for a few queries and clarity on the processes and next steps. Basic queries - expected date of PDI, expected date of delivery, documents for loan processing, ROI for loan, process to get a specific number plate, etc. They never bothered responding to my queries and majority of the times wouldn't answer my calls either. When I get a call back, the only thing they would want to talk about in a rush is - can you make the down-payment today?

My experience with this entire process of getting the new car has been very painful. Adding to it, with the constant increase in price impacting the budget has made the overall experience very sour.

The dilemma - if pre-purchase experience is like this, what would be the post purchase experience? Should I just cancel and move to another brand?

Honestly, the experience has completely killed the excitement of getting a new car.

I think some one else also had this issue, I sent the car for first service today and asked them to fix it, they said that it is normal and it works with Android auto. I have an iPhone so can't test. Shouldn't it ideally work with stock app?

Anyone else can confirm?

On the upside they said they have done a system update and the system definitely seems to be responding much better, can be placebo effect as well.

The navigation display works fine for me when using android auto google maps. It shows the directions on the small display.

I dont use the stock maps so not sure if navigation works there but ideally I would expect it to work with both stock maps and google maps
