Is the fronx 1.0L turbo boosterjet engine same as that doing duty in in a alto k10 S-Presso celerio with a turbo added on to boost horsepower? Is this engine a better choice than the K12N PETROL 1.2L as turbo engines are so called new generation and more sophisticated complex engines?

Incidentally that is also around the time GNCAP releases new results. It's far-fetched, but I can't help wondering if Maruti has grudgingly funded an assessment. I am skeptical of the timely launch of Bharat NCAP. On paper the Fronx can achieve even the maximum ratings for adult and child protection in both programmes.

I have a feeling that this is going to be one of the rare genuinely nice products from the MS stable that is getting near- zero traction. I am sure more people will be curious about the Jimny than this, although this car would be more practical on a daily basis. Change the name please Maruti. It sounds really ridiculous. Somehow the combination of M , S and F doesnt gel to my ears at least.

We have already changed the name to "Fron (frown??)"-"Axe (X)".

The "Fron-X" sounds better than "Fronx", at least it adds some X-factor which usually remains missing in MSIL SUVs.

Basis these images, the Fronx actually looks more upmarket than the Brezza.
In addition, the large front grill gives the impression that its the bigger of the two.
Even though its the latter which has the brighter colour.

The Fronx might end up stealing a lot of potential Brezza customers.

Fronx being a new design is always going to look upmarket and imposing.

Brezza was a good looking vehicle until they messed up the front and rear in v2. Along with that stupid DLR design, it looks like a toy car now

Dare I say that Fronx may not just steal potential customers of Brezza but also of the Jimny. When the buyers are looking for a practical family car with creature comforts or the only car at home, Fronx may tick most of the boxes and that too by saving few bucks. The novelty factor is there for both Fronx and Jimny.

Honestly, those people won't buy Jimny anyway. It's clearly not a "family car", and people primarily looking for a family car would clearly look elsewhere. I don't think Fronx will eat into Jimny sales all that much.
