well after reading thru previous posts, much was discussed and i just want to add that this is globalisation, provide good quality stuff within competitive pricing or someone else around the world will (just like india has captured the IT services industry but unfortunately still has to make its mark in the manufacturing industry)

my indica has done 82000+kms and based on personal experience, all parts which have had premature failure were third party
Lucas TVS
And whoever makes the lousy wheel bearings(I suspect Rane)
And the lousy power steering pump bearings(I suspect Rane)

My Indica has done only a quarter of tsk sir's vehicle, and I have had issues with the parts from the same suppliers.

I frankly wonder how Lucas TVS managed to get the Deming award in 2004, my Indica is from 2004 and it has had its FIP replaced already once under extended warranty and I believe that similar issues were also reported by other owners (this feedback I got from Concorde)

No company can brush off the issues saying that the vendors are not suppling quality parts and pass the buck. They must ensure that only quality components are fixed. They are answerable to the buyer for the entire car, right. Not just the parts they have made inhouse.
