2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Facelift Interior Review
Dashboard design remains unchanged. Cars with a single-tone body colour get a black and grey dual-tone interior theme. There are silver inserts at various places. Those with dual-tone body colours get either black interiors with red inserts or black interiors with green inserts:
Leather-wrapped steering wheel is carried over from the outgoing car. The only changes made are to the switches on the two spokes:
The Grand i10 Nios is now equipped with cruise control. Switches for the same are located on the right spoke. The switches for browsing through the functions of the MID are also placed here. On the left spoke, the button for disconnecting a call has been replaced by a customisable one:
The Grand i10 Nios now gets automatic headlamps. The light stalk has been altered accordingly:
Engine start/stop button has a brushed silver ring around it:
Reworked instrument cluster consists of an analogue tachometer on the left & speedometer on the right, along with analogue temperature & fuel gauges and a 3.5" MID in between:
The MID shows average and instant fuel consumption, distance-to-empty counter, digital speedometer & outside temperature reading. The trip meter shows the distance travelled, average consumption and time taken. Additionally, it will double up as a parking sensor display as soon as the reverse gear is engaged and when cruise control is engaged, it is displayed at the top. The MID also shows a summary of the drive when you switch the car off:
Tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) is another first-in-segment feature:

Switch to turn off the traction control is located next to the headlight leveller and below the right-side A/C vent:
Design of the seats is unchanged. But the semi-fibre grey upholstery is new. With this light colour, the seats can get soiled easily:

Pedals are well spaced out, but the footwell is not very wide. Those with wide feet will find their left shoe getting stuck between the clutch pedal and the centre console. The dead pedal is useless:
2 USB ports (Type-C and Type-A) and a 12V power outlet are located below the climate control system on the centre fascia. The Type-C USB port (a first-in-segment) can only be used for charging, while the Type-A port can be used to connect your smartphone to the infotainment system as well as for charging purposes. 12V power outlet gets a flip-up plastic cover:
Hyundai has provided a plug-in USB port that can be slotted into the 12V charging socket. It comes with a plastic cover:
Wireless smartphone charging pad is located at the base of the centre fascia. This is a first-in-segment feature:
5-speed gear knob gets a glossy black top with a silver border. Gear lever has a leather boot:
To Asta variant gets a cooling vent in the glovebox:
Front footwells get cool blue illumination:
4 airbags (dual front + side) are standard on all variants of the Grand i10 Nios. This is a first-in-segment safety feature. The top Asta variant gets curtain airbags as well:
