So, the unnecessary raked beltline remains, aiding less visibility for the rear passengers.
Expected though, since changing them would require much more investment in body panels.

re: Tata Nexon Facelift launch in September 2023

Nexon is a wonderful car but the Three Pot Petrol is not a refined engine and there are jerks in low gears and and when you leave or press the accelerator.

The current design is a bit matured as I have the first generation with the big headlamps and it looked funky. Thankfully the designers did what we had though and the current lamps look good. The other thing they can work on is the rear and remove that highlight strip. The rear stance could also borrow a cue from the Evoque. We don’t mind a LR/ RR Evoque replica

The design in this blog looks even better and in sync with the proposed family look of Tata.

A 120 plus BHP engine with 250 nm of Torque is a great figure and even the current engine with 110 horses is more than enough making it a great sprinter.

Tata should make the ride a bit more compliant though the handling is excellent for its height. I think GC is a bit too high for a city car and should be less than 200 mm. Anything above 170-180 but less than 200 is good for India.

One big problem is rusting which I noticed in my Nexon and am appalled that it comes from a company whose core competency is steel. Disappointed to say the least from a group we Indians love for their ethos.

Looking forward to the new Nexon and Sierra

Any news on whether it will come with real automatic (CVT / TC) instead of the AMT

These new mules seem to be sporting the updated Harrier/Safari spec ORVMs. Guess the Nexon will now share ORVM with these two (previously it was shared with Zest/Tiago/Tigor). Easy fix for adding the 360Deg cameras? Just lift the whole assembly? IMO the Harrier ORVMs are a tad too large (wide) for the Nexon's proportions visually.

The huge rear spoiler in this photo is not there in the latest spy photos shared in the post above.

Probably because it's base/mid variant. The defogger as well as wiper assembly for rear is also missing in the latest spy shots.

Ahh the ghastly split headlamp design has now consumed Nexon as well.

On the contrary I think its still a higher variant. At least till now, only the XZ and above trims get shark-fin antennas in the Nexon. Also - right from the 1st mule spotting, I have suspected that the new Nexon is going to have a top mounted inverted rear wiper. And thats why the over-sized rear spoiler, to actually hide it altogether from sight.

And even in the latest picture without rear spoiler - I think the camo wrap is covering the wiper which is resting near the top right edge of the rear glass, under-cover. There is deformation in the wrap, congruent to a wiper's shape.

The hint of this wiper mount, can actually be seen in the very first spy pics on this thread, in this post - Link to post

It is quite evident now that you have said it and upon zooming the image I can see the deformation as well. The new gen Tucson also gets inverted wiper at the rear and it looks really cool to me in action. Eager to see how Tata does the implementation.
