The BMW X3 gets the new angular kidney grille with vertical air inlets at the front, adaptive LED headlights and LED taillights. The M Sport package adds M kick plates, M exterior badges, chrome exhaust tips, a sportier front apron with larger intakes and 19-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the X3 comes with a multi-function steering wheel and electric seats with memory function. The M Sport variant gets Sports seats with perforated upholstery, M leather steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof, puddle lamps, ambient lighting and 3-zone automatic climate control.

The SUV also gets a touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster with a head-up display, wireless charging, and Parking Assistant Plus with a 360-degree camera.

The BMW X3 xDrive20d is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine that produces 188 BHP @ 5,200 rpm and 400 Nm @ 1,750-2,500 rpm. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive system. BMW claims a 0-100 km/h time of 7.9 seconds and a top speed of 213 km/h.

Re: BMW X3 gets new diesel variants priced from Rs 67.50 lakh

A six-cylinder diesel (3L) offering would have been great for higher end versions. Or even a 2.0L making somewhere around 250HP would have been OK. Volvo and Merc's 2L diesel Mills already make what would have been a "six-cylinder" power not so long back (C300d, GLE 300d, Volvo D5 engines), making more than 250hp plus.

Amusing how a 25-30L XUV700 has an equally powerful diesel engine as an 80L luxury SUV. Funtimes

Re: BMW X3 gets new diesel variants priced from Rs 67.50 lakh

BMW India have published incorrect info in their brochure yet again. 5200 rpm peak power for an ordinary production diesel engine is obviously incorrect. They have pasted the peak power point of the 30i without bothering to check. It should be 4000 rpm for the 20d.
