Isuzu has launched the 2023 MU-X and D-Max range with updated engines and new features.
The 2023 Isuzu MU-X gets a redesigned front fascia with a chrome grille flanked by single-pod headlamps. The SUV is powered by a 1.9-litre diesel engine that has been upgraded to comply with the latest RDE emission norms. The engine produces 161 BHP and 360 Nm and comes mated to either a 6-speed manual or an automatic transmission.
Isuzu has also updated the D-Max range for the 2023 model year. The pick-up truck is available in Hi-Lander and V-Cross variants and gets automatic climate control and a rear defogger as standard.
The V-Cross comes with steering-mounted controls, cruise control, traction control, electronic stability control and hill start & hill descent control. The top-spec Z trim gets minor cosmetic changes like chrome surrounds on the fog lamps, dark grey ORVMs and 18-inch gloss black alloy wheels. Isuzu has also made some minor changes to the interior.
Isuzu updated its colour palette and is now offering seven colour options with the addition of a new Valencia Orange shade.

IMHO, Mu-X 4WD AT should have been priced between Jeep Compass 4 AT and Scorpio 4AT for better sales.

Hi, just a small correction: the Vcross come with a 6 speed MT or a 6 speed AT. Neither are 5 speed.

The MuX onroad price would be somewhere in the region of 40-45 lakhs. They should have priced it on par or the same level as Scorpio / Innova Crysta pricing for it to have some effect in the market.
One advantage could be you get the car pretty quickly which may force the buyers to look at this product.
the Vcross Z Prestige AT 4WD is also priced out of range. Should have targeted at least 3 to 4 lakhs lower to get some traction.
