Entry-level car and bike sales drop

I genuinely believe we should reconsider just blaming the taxation policy. It has been the same for a LONG time and it's the same for every company.

IMO a fair part of the blame lies with the OEMs incompetence & lack of willingness, to adequately keep price rises in check.

Not only Alto but even the humble Hero Splendor costs near to 90K on-road,I remember paying 88K for their flagship Karizma R in 2012 ,10 years later one can get Splendor now for that same amount😌, of course Bs6 and fuel injection came into the picture but still everything automobile feel’s a bit overpriced ever since the pandemic and BS6 norms.
