Good on Ratan Tata. I am sure he will make it a success like he has for the Tata group and also the way he is handling Fiat right now. Imagine the service backup that Ferrari will have in India. It will be probably the biggest service network Ferrari ever has .

Roads are a plenty Madan, you just need to look for them . I have seen Murcielago's take off to certain stretches along with rumours of a big shot driving his Aston Martin late night on the GQ. So.... Maybe not inside the cities, but some people don't mind venturing out you know.

Well it was about time they came into our market after the relative success of Porsche & Lamborghini. Now how much did they say the 599 was for? About time I broke open my Ferrari piggy bank

But every FIAT is not a ferrari.

Wont Maserati also come with the deal? Or is it just ferrari?

well, the point is not IF there are good road - the point is where are they! I know that the GQ, BPEXp way, etc are there, but if I buy a ferrari, I wont be able to take it down koramangala to the forum because if the speedbreakers everywhere. anyways, its good to see these cars coming in.

Nice to know Ferrari is coming to India, but as Madan said where are the roads?

Indian highways is not at all suited for high speed driving, at times I am scared to go beyond 100 kmph, you don't know when a child will run across the road or a truck/bus ahead will suddenly change the lane!

Great news! It would be wonderful to see these exotics on our roads. However, it will be disheartening to see the autos/cabs guys scratch these beauties. A scarlet paint residue on these autos/cabs might just double their value!

Tata is a natural choice for all FIAT brands.

Why horn? Just blip the throttle, you can hear the engine roar and sing from a mile behind, even with Indian traffic idiosyncrasies.

Will they allow me to test drive an F430 when I need to buy a Tata/Fiat vehicle?

If they allow for a Test drive of F430, then I guess the Indian car enthusiasts will be just happy with a Test drive, none will buy it!

To TD a Ferrari you probably need to pay an insurance amount in case you damage it. :-)

Maybe keep your existing car as collateral before you take the Ferrari out for a spin.

I'd buy a TATA/FIAT car if they are willing to give F430 test drive.
