I've Logan 1.5 DLS and I'm getting following fuel efficieny :

City (w/o AC) : 17
City (with AC) : 15
Highway (without AC) : 25
Highway (with AC) : 21-23 depending on road conditions.

Total Distance Covered:1100 Kms

Trichur-Vailankanni-Trichur 30th Sept & 1st Oct,

Car:Fiesta Diesel
Total Distance Covered:1120 Kms

Our first car, a Maruti 1000, gave an FE of 11 kpl in the city, 12 without AC, and 13.5 on the highway.

My first office car, an Indica LSI petrol gave an FE of 10 kpl in the city, but 14 on the highway.

Our next car, an Indigo petrol gave a city (with AC) FE of 9.5 kpl and 12.5 kpl on the highway.

My next office car, a petrol Optra Magnum gave an FE of 8.5 kpl in the city and 14 kpl on the highway.

My current car, an Accord 2.4 gives 6.5 to 7.5 kpl in the city and 11.5 kpl on the highway.

I got 21.36 KMPL in my Alto recently for city driving. Tank full to tank full, no A/C, 5 persons on board and light (holiday) traffic.

Last trip : Dombivli - Goa -Dombivli Distance approx 1400 Km.

Car Palio D 1.9 Gave me Avg of 15.6 Km/L .
Speeds 100 - 120 on bad roads restricted to 80 Km/Hr .(Some times touching to 150 km/hr also)
Ac on 50 % of the time due to rains ow climate was to good.

Fuel : IOC mostly as difference between normal shell is more than 3 rs/ lit.

all the mileage/FE figures were with 100percent A/c,

Corolla - 11km/l , AC on all the time - Fast driving

have done 12km/l as my best (with AC)

Santro GLS 2007

City - 13-14 km/l (AC on 100% - Relatively Smooth Chandigarh Traffic)
Highway - 17km/l (AC on 100% - conservative driving around 85 km/hr)

Distance without A/C - 0kms
Distance with A/C - 410kms
Cruising speed - 90-120kmph (Inluding a 10km run at 140kmph)
Fuel Consumption - 27.5ltrs
Fuel Economy - 14.90kmpl
Total Fuel Cost - Rs. 1386 @ 50.43/ltr

Gotta love them variable valve timers...LOL
