For my Hyundai Verna

City:
14.5 – 15.0 with 50 % A/C

Highway:
17 – 17.5 with A/C

After changing the tires to 195/14/R14 , fuel efficiency increased for my Verna.

Those who drive on this route, admire the stretch between Tumkur and ChitraDurga (awesome road), with speeds always above 120Kmph and touched a max of 140Kmph.

Blame it on 3.9 axle ratio or what but yes.

My Zen estilo has so far given me best average of 16.6 and the wors has been 12.6
I constantly keep a log and have maintained a xls sheet for this.

Esteem 1995: City - 10 & Highway - 12

MPFi Esteem 2005: City - 12 (10-11 with AC) & Highway 19-20 when driven between 80-100 (17 with AC @ 100kmph - This was a shocker as I was expecting it to be around 15!)

Skoda Fabia 1.2 MPI done approx 5k on the odo, Regular Petrol
Mumbai City : 12.5 Kmpl , 100% AC (Started with 9 kmpl)
Highway : 15-16 Kmpl, 100% AC

Zen '98 (Carb), done approx 83k on the odo, Regular Petrol
Highway : 13-14 Kmpl, 100% AC
Mumbai City : 11 Kmpl , 70% AC
Pune City : 15 kmpl, 20% AC (3 yrs back)

Kinetic Honda (2S) '96 Model, 45k on the odo
Used to give me abt 35 kmpl up until 5 yrs back
Went thru a couple of 'flood immersions' thereafter. Stopped bothering ever since

Hyundai Getz Prime 1.1 ( maintained in prime condition)
City drive- 12.5 with 50% AC( bangalore traffic)
Highway Run: BLR to Coimbatore and Back. City driven in Coimbatore/Tirupur for about 150 kms
Total Run: 800 Kms
AC: 80%
Max Speed: 140(just for 5 mins only), mostly 100-120
People in the Car: 3 and for 150 kms 5 people
Mileage: 17.6 kms per Liter
Fuel Used: Normal Fuel from BPCL and IOC.

City Drive: 12Kms/L average. Mostly driven self or with 2 people(40% run)
Highway: BLR to Yercaud( about 25kms of climb in lower gears). Run in Yercaud for about 25kms
No of people: 4
AC Used: Always
Fuel Used: Shell Premium
Mileage: 15 kms/Liter
Max Speed: 140-145 ( for about 30-40kms only). Mostly Run 120

CAR: 5 Speed 800

Safari Exi 2003 Nov. Model. 42,000km ODO. Indian Highway (70%) - City/forest/bad roads (30%) driving includes very bad streches as well, 30% AC usage. Fuel Economy 9.2kmpl. Premium Petrol all the way. Total distance covered in this trip is 1850km.

Around 16 highway with AC
Fuel- XtraMile
Maruti 800- 15 city without AC
17-19 highway without AC
Fuel-normal petrol-IOC or HP
