Looks like you are getting good numbers. What was your mileage immediately after the second service?

I have a Dzire ZDI, its 3 months old and covered around 6500 KMs. Initially I was getting a mileage of 14-14.5 in Bangalore city traffic with 100% AC on, mostly on Bannerghatta Road stretch between diary circle and nice road junction. After second service I am getting around 15.25, Is this a good mileage in Bangalore city traffic or is it bound to increase after third service? Dzire/Swift owners, please comment on this.

In highway, I got 18 with 100% AC ON. This was before the second service. Mileage is calculated on full tank - full tank basis.

Ford Endeavour 3.0 AT 4x4, mostly city driving on smooth roads with very less jams but frequent traffic lights, AC on all the time, lot of acceleration and braking - 6-7 kmpl of "normal" Diesel.

You are still lucky mate. My Spark was earlier giving me 11-11.5kmpl with AC. but for last 2000 kms, it has dropped to 8.5kmpl. I wonder why??

Yes, I always fill at the same station, same nozzle (Shell). Still there is a difference from time to time. So I believe only in a visual level. And the difference varies from 250 ml to 1250 ml after auto cutoff.

Re: What is your Actual Fuel Efficiency?

My 2007 Swift Vdi ABS has clocked 65,000 kilometers and has been giving me a constant mileage of 15kmpl with the AC in the city, nothing less than that. Highway figures are poor (enthusiastic driving).
The best figure was 18kmpl, don't remember when.

Re: What is your Actual Fuel Efficiency?

i10 Kappa and done 21 K on ODO, gives constantly between 13 to 14 kmpl on B2B city traffic with 70% AC, mostly my driving is sedate, also had been refueling from one of the pump regularly. On long drive mileage was between 16 - 17 kmpl.

Cheers !!!

Re: What is your Actual Fuel Efficiency?

Ritz VXI with 7500 Kms

Mileage calculated
KMs after tankful - 341
Fuel Refilled - 24.92

So FE Stands around - 13.68 kmpl - 95% AC - 100% City

Driving Style - Mixed - Sometimes in a NFS mode(upto 5000 rpm), sometimes in Sunday Drive mode(upto 2000 rpm) and a lot of Bumper-2-Bumper Traffic with extremely slow moving traffic.

Re: What is your Actual Fuel Efficiency?

80% city driving (read it as bumper to bumper with avg speed 20KMH) and 20% highway driving with 100% AC ON on a Skoda Laura 2.0 CR Diesel Manual => 13KMPL. This is measured over 6500 KMS.

90% city driving (read it as bumper to bumper with avg speed 20KMH) and 10% highway driving 100% AC ON on a Swift Petrol (old non K series) => 12KMPL. This is measured over 50000 KMS.

Re: What is your Actual Fuel Efficiency?

Guys i am so disappointed -- everyone here gets minimum average of 10km -- have u seen mine ... i can't even do 375 km in 45 liters

CAR - OHC 1.5
86k on odo
4x2x1 Headers- expansion chamber (no KNN airfilter )
195/65/r14

Figures without AC
(speeds not above 100kmph)
City - 7.5
Highway - 9 ( updated )

Occasional gunning the car. but soon as im on 50kmph i am on the 5th gear

Yes i am disappointed .
