Re: What is your Actual Fuel Efficiency?

Alto Lxi, 2008 August:

Highway drive: 20.79 km/litre with a/c, calculated over an up-down highway drive of 341.5 km, tank-full to tank-full method (16.42 litres, Indian Oil Extra Premium Petrol). Up and down journey was during early morning hours on Kerala MC road, with very less traffic.

City drive: Varies between 17.0 and 18.75 km/liter with a/c for my office drive, depending on traffic. Half of the drive here is on the National Highway with little traffic.

Re: What is your Actual Fuel Efficiency?

Ducati Monster 696, in the UK, gives me about 35mpg or 12.4 kmpl. Whereas I used to average about 14kmpl in a Honda City, with town and highway driving.
