My Swift gives 11 to 11.5 in the city with without a/c what ever
on the Highways with fast driving I mean 100+ 90% of the time returns 13 to 14 kmpl, and if u chose to keep it < 100 kmpl returns 16+ kmpl.
Santro 2002 model returns 13 with and w/o a/c in the city and 16+ on the highway with a/c

Well guys,

I bought new Optra Royale last month & just before completing 1500kms. & also before first car checkup at the showroom, i checked its mileage which came to be 12kmpl. in Delhi city with AC. Chevy quotes its avg as 12.2kmpl. So I guess I'll surely get that much after another service.

But man, trust me! Optra Royale segment is worth the price.

1996 Esteem (8v, carb)

10/12 (city)

14/16 (highway)

2002 Palio Adventure 1.6

9/10

13/14

2005 Baleno (Euro II)

11/12

16/18

For highway driving, the figures are from a highway such as the Delhi-Jaipur NH8 maintaining 80-100

Ever since my wife has started driving the indica exclusively(me cant for 2 more weeks), the fuel efficiency is 17-18kmpl in Delhi-Noida city traffic. That explains the importance of light foot driving! I could manage only 16! Not bad for a 2002 indica, eh?

Sumit

I have driven all my cars with A/C on and the effiency has always been good.

Baleno (Which we have sold now) has given me close to 12kmpl in city conditions and 15kmpl in Highway conditions. The worst it ever delivered was on Mumbai Pune Expressway on my way to Mangalore where I actualy hit 190kmph was 8kmpl.

Santro Xing which consistently delivers 14kmpl in city and 17kmpl in highway conditions.

Bajaj Pulsar 150 which gives me 50kmpl in city conditions and 55-58kmpl in highways.

Honda Activa which not being used much delivers close to 45 in city conditions.

Thats a stunning FE considering u run your swift on fat 205 rubber...
My friends are finding difficulty in achieving those figures with stock rubbers..
