Fiesta 1.6 sxi - seems to have settled between 11 & 11.5 kmpl with 30% driving in stop & go, bumper to bumper & very slow moving traffic & the rest in reasonably flowing traffic conditions (going upto speeds of 100 kmph for short stretches in early morning traffic)

Ikon 1.6 zxi - 10.5 to 11 kmpl but this would go down a notch (from past experience) once May (and scorching summer) sets in

All above with AC.

Mods, by the way, shouldn't this thread be moved to the "Technical Stuff" section?

Done 1200 kms.

city FE : 8 km/ltr (avg of 3 readings 9 km/l, 8 km/l, 7km/l ) something wrong but dunno what?

highway FE : 15 km/ltr

Guys is Baleno Vxi less efficient than Lxi ?

or is Baleno BS-III less efficient than BS-II ?

Hello all,

Baleno LXI
City avg... 9.5 - 10.5 km/l
Highway - 14.5 - 15 km/l consistently.

All these figures are with aircon on most of the time.

[SIZE=2]Average Fuel Consumption of any car would be very difficult to calculate, it would dependent of no of people using the car, with each having it's own way of driving and traffic conditions, condition of car, and many other factors. My Indigo LX 2004 has already done 79000 Km and every week i find a substantial difference in fuel consumption. probably law of averages would sum it up to 13-14 Km per Litre. which with a mix of highway and City Driving is not satisfactory. Accent GLE

Mileage figures of my Accent GLE

Have not checked exactly on cities and highways

Worst mileage ever recorded: 10.45 (80% city and bad roads rest highway)

Best mileage ever recorded: 17.07 (Mostly highway driven)

Mileage range consistently getting: 11.15 to 12.9 (Depends on the road and driving. Have a driver who is a bit rash occasionally)
