Yes my bad its a diesel. How do you calculate FE for your car? Did you get a chance to compare the MID averages and the tankful ones for the 1.5 diesel of the New Figo? If yes what's the difference between the two?

Hello to the Vento 1.6 TDI BHPians. Off late, I have been noticing a peculiar thing. I don't know whether it's specific to my vehicle or in common to all. After service, the car gives high FE. But after crossing 7500 kms+ post service, the maximum attainable as well as routine FE decreases by a factor of 2-3 Kmpl. I fear it's something to do with late oil, filters change as 15,000 Kms is too long for our conditions ( discussed in our forum many a time). Is that so or am I hypothecating a reason?

On the contrary, I felt my car performed better and returned better mileage prior to the last service. And I noticed the same for the first service too.

With the city-highway ratio getting skewed more towards the city in the last year or so, the combined average is in the range of 11-12 kmpl.

Re: What is your Actual Fuel Efficiency?

Honda Civic check for a 650 km highway trip:

Quantity of Fuel (petrol): full tank- 50 litres.
AC Usage: 100% for the trip due to the scorching 42 degrees heat in Bihar.

Refilled for safety sake but the car did it under the one tankful. A calculated estimate gives me a figure of about 14.5 kms a litre which is good.

Re: What is your Actual Fuel Efficiency?

Vehicle: Audi S4
AC: 100%
Transmission: S Tronic
Driving Mode: Individual with sport differential and steering on dynamic
City/Highway: 100% City
Fuel Type: Regular Petrol 91 RON
FE: 4.9 km/l

Embarrassing FE but leaves a big fat grin on my face every time I drive the car around. This is completely my city run, depending on traffic conditions and the driving style, getting around 3-5 km/l. More relaxed driving style(efficiency mode) will net me around 5-7 km/l.

Highway is a completely different thing, I've seen my mileage ranging from 7-11 km/l. Haven't been on the highway the past week or so, I shall take a picture when I run through it.
