In city my palio 1.2 2002 make gives around 12.5 kmpl throttle hard & without AC.
If easy on the throttle i get around 14kmpl without AC.
on highway race mode 140+ kmph i get around 12 - 12.5 kmpl with 50%AC on.

My Dads 1996 model Zen gives 15kmpl.

It should be about 8kmpl-10kmpl in city and about 12-14kmpl on highway with AC sparingly used.

Thats a decent mileage you are getting there warchild, even in "race mode".Seems like you taking care of her by looking at the shiny avatar of yours.

My Maruti Zen 99 Carb gives me

10-10.5 City with A/C on all the time.
High Way I have no idea, as I'm always diving within the city.

Only Highway 13 full A/C reasonable speeds not over 110 km/h. W/o A/c should be about 13.75 or so. (we drive w/o a/c only in winters, so will get back in January on that one )

City (not driven much, but) about 9-10 depending on driving conditions and full a/c. W/o a/c should not exceed 11 as per my estimates.

My car is mainly for commuting to wok. That means mainly a highway (not the expressways) for me. My driving is about 60 km a day with 75-80% highway. Done about 22,000 kms.

If u drive with a heavy foot on highway or very fast, or performance drives, then the FE drops to 11.5 or so.

Maruti Suzuki SX4, zxi (1.6L), July 2007, 2200 km

Fuel : Normal petrol

City: 12.4 to 13 kmpl 100%AC on, Pune traffic (30-40kmph, stop and go)
Highway: 16 kmpl 100%AC on, sometime 100-110kmph, mostly 80-90kmph.

God knows what will happen later as car ages.

Change of driver, and the Marina's back at the 15 kmpl mark. 16 if using Turbojet. All driving in city / Kanakapura Rd. No A/c.

dear all,
drove my new civic from coimbatore to kochi today.although did not check the FE i particular but i think i got 11 kmpl overall with AC on/off and driving on highway (like city driving because rarely crossed 60 kmph and with lots of pot holes too).shall post the actual FE once tested in city/highway with AC on/off.
