The mileage figures from SX4 are pretty impressive considering it a 1.2 tonne car with a 1.6 petrol engine. Its between 11-12 kmpl as reported by owners, which is great IMHO

Exactly my thoughts - its more powerful than the Baleno, weighs around 200kgs more but the FE is more or less close to Baleno city FE figures.
Impressive, I would say.

well, my zen gives a consistent 12-12.5 in city, the city being bombay. On highway, at a constant speed of about 70-90Kmph it gives an impressive 15.5-16.5. And that, makes me happy!

My new Cedia Sports -

After first tank fill: 8.5 KM/L with 100% AC and city driving only

After second tank fill: 12.5 KM/L with 50% city / highway driving; with AC.

I am assuming the figures should improve after the first service which is due soon.

Santro Xing erlx - 350 Km done (Run-in Period).
Checked the mileage from tank-tank fill. I got 12 KMPL approx in City + Highway 100% AC On. The mileage should improve after first service.
