2. Viva CRDi- city(25%) highway(75%) mix- worst - just once( tank full to tank full)- after my 3rd servicing- those guys must have kept the engine on idle for hours- else average is minium 16.5 kmpl ( sprints mode) - 18 (very well driven) and 22 on Mumabi - Goa trip, 20- Mumbai - Jaipur trip.( Total drove around 60000 kms)

Really nice average

worth it.

I have a esteem and a alto

City Highway
esteem in cng with ac 14-15 24
Alti in cng with ac 16-17 28

i dont think with such good average need to drive without ac

I have booked a SX4 and will get it fitted with CNG after 6 months (2 services), mostly will transfer the kit of esteem and sell off my esteem.

I have been using CNG since 2000 and very stisfied with the performance and money I save.

my palio 1.6 gtx 82K+kms on odo 2001 model gave me 21 kmpl on pune kolhapur trip. a/c on from the begining started at 7 am tyre pressure 40 psi cold,acetone 2 ml per litre ,radiator partially blocked to really heat up the engine and keep it worm driven only for milage point of view, 80-100 kmph. only spirinted in the ghat section. the road is dream come true <except the evre occuring toll plazas.mobil 5 w 50 , boric powder in gear box <50 grams>

On my last trip from Blr to Mys, I got a staggering Mileage of 20.15 KMPL.Tanked up at shell and then heavy rains kept my speeds around 50 to 80 kmphwith almost 90% AC due to defogger.Tanked up in mysore and it drank 6.45 ltrs for 130Kms. I doubt the similarity of auto cutoff between shell and BP but however it must be atleast 18kmpl.Earlier Blr Mys trips gave me around 15kmpl.

In city, i get around 12.5 to 13.5 without AC on a regular basis.

Zen -> 10.5-12 in the City in different conditions and 14-15 on Highway
Baleno -> this one i'm so confused, once it was 9.8kmpl,next 10.9kmpl then again 10.8 kmpl and last time it was 9.8 again. So I can say it's between 9.8-11kmpl. All city driving.
Alto -> Oh man, this car is something about drinking fuel,after taking delivery itself (next day exactly had to take it for a long drive,approx 375km) it had given me mileage of around 19kmpl(ofcourse highway).Dunno what's going on now.it's at my hometown.

This includes 3 - 4 times 0 -100 and 15 - 20 minutes idle with AC on.

Innova Petrol:

Consistent 8kmpl with 60% AC on in City, 11kmpl with 60% AC on in highway. Fuel being from Shell normal Petrol.

If I use IOC or BP i get 1 km less I can clearly see that.
