What is your Actual Fuel Efficiency?

Getz Prime 1.3 GLX:
* 3000 kms on Odo (1st service done)
* Tyres upsized to 195/75 R14

FE checked under following conditions-
* 20% expressway driving (@ 120 kmph)
* 80% city driving - moderate traffic
* A/c on for 70% of the time

Mileage: 11.8 kmpl

updated mileage figures after i shifted to Gurgaon....

drive
OHC 1.5EXI - WITH AUTOMECH HEADERS + FREE FLOW _ 195/55/15 YOKOS...

city - no ac as of now ( its freezing cold here as per chennai standards !! ) - 10-11 IN CITY

HIGHWAY - 14kmpl

this is against measely 7.5-8 i used to get in chennai with almost no A/C !!!!

couple this with cheaper fuel in gurgaon and IM LOVING IT///

In city:

Starting few months, when I used more higher rpm - 9.5
Now, its around 11.5

In highways:

Its always been around 12. :-(
I also tend to rev more and drive more in 3rd and 4th during highways, so that might be a reason.

In the last 2 tanks I tried 1 ml/L ratio of System-G and the city mileage dropped to 6.5 km/L without any racing and the highway mileage didn't cross 12 by not exceeding 120 km/h.

Useless additive. I'm going to chuck it out.

My santro Xing gives me 10 with ac on 50% in mumbai bumper to bumper traffic.Not yet calculated on highway

Every time I switch to Premium/ Shell Super I get more FE, last fill returned 11.5 KMPL. Before that on IBP regular it varied between 9.5 KMPL and 10.5 KMPL. Its a Petra 1.6.

I was told the I would get the car in 2008 and they would 2008 models(made in Jan), Hence I have used getz CRDi-2008.
So its a future tense bro.I dont' have the car yet, though I booked it on first day of launch.
Terrible to wait, ain't it ?.
My pal got i10 delivery today thoug it was luanched 1.5 later to Getz CRDi. I have to break my head now, man, its terrible......

Around 3.5 - 4 Km/L in town with heavy traffic in the M3!

Around 6.5 Km/L with light traffic (say at night) and a light foot!

Bear in mind she's brand new and not run in yet!
