Ford Mondeo 2.0 petrol

Petrol used - Hp power

In City with full ac
Best - 8.1
Worst - 5.9

On Highway with full ac
Best - 12.4
Worst - 11.1

Latest update about my Innova Petrol with K&N Stock replacment Filter.

City with 80% Ac on between 7.6 - 8.4. with consistant (2500km driven in 100 days) usage of Shell Premium Petrol and K&N Air Filter I can see FE is not never less than 7.6 and many times its 8+ with AC on 60%.

With Shell I can see better performance with less engine noice.

I am yet to take the vehicle on highway from last 3+ months, i will update once I do highway travelling in couple of months.

Regards,

Ravi.

Good figures here. Its surprising that highway figures are almost the same as city figures.

Anyways, usage of AC reduces the FE by 1 - 2 kmpl.

Also, the forum generally recommends normal diesel instead of premium.

Luckly AC usages have not made any significant change in my car's fuel economy. Though I have not yet tried out normal diesel in my car, but have been tempted on various occasions after reading thru some of the posts. Somehow I feel Xmile Diesel is good for my car looking at my FE & excelent pick up.
