Her are my figures on my 2006 MPFI 800-
City:
13-14 kmpl with a really heavy foot and redlining a lot of times, with 20 kms everyday driven in Bangalore peak hour traffic conditions.

Highway:
19.5 kmph with four passengers and loaded with lluggage at constant speeds of above 90kmph.
With a speed of between 60 and 70 kmph, I have got more than 23-24 consistently!

Recently had a drive to bangalore from chennai. My one yr old Santro gave me slightly less than 10 km/l in LPG at speeds of 80-100 km/h. On my return i drove in petrol and the car gave above 17 kms/l of petrol with AC and at speeds between 90-100kms.

My wife's new Chevvy Spark LS with 1600 km on the ODO (and one service down) gives 17.5 kmpl consistently in city with air-con on at all time. We're very pleased with it as a city car.

Pulsar 150 DTS-i (with steel wheels) 50% solo, 50% with pillion
Best: 54 kmpl (with max speed of 50 kmph and very relaxed driving)
Worst: 45 kmpl (spirited but not rash driving max speeds upto 100 kmph when road allows)

Palio Stile 1.3 MJD (only 1400 kms so far)
15 - 16 kmpl (75% AC)

All figures for City Driving in Delhi with a fair share of bad traffic and jams in and around Ashram Chowk, Mathura Road etc

MM540DP with an Isuzu 2.2l NA IDI Diesel + 5 speed GB.
~13.5km/l in city (Pune)
~15km/l on highways

That is with fuel spilling out of the filler during hard cornering.
