Forgot to add, city mileage is with regular petrol typically Shell. Have moved over from Shell Super to Shell regular after a lot of discussion around this. Haven't seen any noticeable drop in mileage.

In all cases, AC 100% on. These are the figures derived most of the times. There has been a variation due to driving conditions and consistency of people of driving. 3 cars shared amongst 4 people. Different driving ways of all 4.

Highway - 45 kmpl. (going from Dadar to Panvel)

Swift VXi 2007 / 20k kms on the Odo.
IOC - Regular Petrol
City - 11.5-12 kmpl (100% AC, Always first to start at the signal, never miss an opportunity to overtake, get ahead through the shortest possible gaps)

Highway - 14.5-15 kmpl (100% AC, can't remember when i was last overtaken on the highway)

Get about 0.7-0.8 kmpl extra whenever i use premium fuel, stopped using it as i feel the low end gets compromised, though the mid-range and top end are very smooth with premium petrol.

That sounds a lot lesser than what most of us Alto guys get. I get 16.5 with AC 100% in City.

I've also driven alto for 2 years and I always got 12-13 kmpl with 100% AC on, so 11-12 is also ok.
